MET: Pre-Conference

It was my first time attending a translators’ conference — and MET definitely didn’t disappoint!

I kicked things off at the welcome drinks on Wednesday evening at the beautiful Palau de la Música, where I finally got to meet some familiar LinkedIn faces in real life and make lots of new connections too.

One of the unexpected highlights was bumping into my former tutor, Sarah, from my MA in Translation Studies at the University of Portsmouth — such a lovely surprise and a full-circle moment! 🎓💫
